1- Please read "Expand C drive size" and "Original to McLaren Limited Edition" notes below first. Installing wrong software causes permanent damage to your device!

2- Add "siemens_" prefix to your v15 firmware file. For example; "siemens_SX1_GREECE-TURKEY-RETAIL-uk-el-tr_15_0001.exe"

3- Run firmware exe file (WinSwup) and uncheck "Core" and "iBoot" options. Leave all other options selected

4- On "Serial Config" button, select "USB Only" and press "OK" button to save settings

5- While firmware exe (WinSwup) is running, run "APatcher.exe". Select target SXP file from "File > Open" option

6- If your device is 32MB variant, add "32MB.sxp" patch using the "Append" button in Apatcher

7- Select the "Apply patch for RAM" option and wait to see "All DONE!" message

8- Power off device and plug it to USB while pressing joystick button (SwupMode)

9- If you are using VirtualBox, bridge "Siemens" hardware to VirtualBox via the "Devices > USB" section.

10- Install SX1 Flash drivers via selecting Drivers from folder

11- Finally, return to firmware exe (WinSwup) and start flashing process by clicking the "START" button

12- Please wait patiently until the process is complete. Once process is finished, disconnect device and start

SX1 has two types of internal memory modules: the older 24 MB and the newer 32 MB.

Before installation, you need to determine which one your SX1 has. To do this, copy the "FlashTester.exe" file to the MMC drive, if available, and run it on your device using any file manager application.

If you have the 32 MB variant, it is possible to increase the C drive capacity by another 11.8MB. To do this, after selecting Reborn.sxp (or Reborn_McLaren.sxp) in APatcher, add "32MB.sxp" patch using the "Append" button.

Warning! If you install 32 MB software onto a 24 MB device, you will permanently damage your device!

If you want to convert your SX1 to a McLaren Limited Edition, you should do the following:

- For McLaren app and contents like (Ringtone, Wallpapers and Videos); extract "McLaren_MMC.zip" to your E drive (MMC)

- For McLaren startup splashscreen, boot animation, default wallpaper and default ringtone; use "McLaren" variants of SXP files from APatcher while installing Reborn CFW.

- If you experience any problems with your device, simply reflash it with your official v15 firmware

- If the device won't turn on at all, perform a hard format via holding * (asterisk) key + # (hash) key + Power Button same time
