Manifest:
Reborn hybrid CFW was developed specifically to make devices that cannot have CFW installed using traditional methods usable again.
This project aims to:
- Providing an all-in-one package so that all Symbian OS 9+ devices will be usable by 2026
- Removing apps, services, features, options, links etc. that no longer work as of 2026
- Avoiding any problems while installing and running applications and games
- Providing easy HTTPS Internet access (Thanks to nnproject)
- Debloated, simple and stock user experience
- To bring excitement and action to the community
Features:
- Enabled HTTPS services access from all native and Java apps without any problems (Thanks to nnproject)
- Added N-gage library (Optional)
- Enabled to send SIS, SISX, JAR and other protected files from File Manager
- Reordered app icons on launcher
- Hided non-working apps
- Added new User-Agent profile (UAProf) to replace non-working one
- Replaced non-working connectivity check URL with a working one
- Updated default CACerts
- Updated SSL certs from Mozilla CA store (Thanks to nnproject)
- Replaced non-working Music Store buttons on Music app
- Removed non-working podcast directories
- Online services that can always remain active thanks to Reborn CFW Online Services Bridge feature
How to install:
1- Please note that this is an alpha release and was developed by a single person as a hobby
2- Please read Warranty section first!
3- Please don't ask to developer how to install this
4- Please try to perform a clean installation whenever possible
5- Your device must be hacked, at least have the installserver.exe patch should be installed
6- Download and install "Reborn_hybrid_CFW.sis" file to the device
7- Follow the instructions when installation begins
8- You can submit your suggestions and feature requests in our Telegram group
Escape plan:
- If you experience any problems with your device, simply format it
- If the device won't turn on at all, perform a hard format using key combinations
